Our Cambridge Summer Experience
Cambridge has long been a home for pioneering ideas — where science meets creativity, and imagination drives discovery. From its medieval courtyards to its modern laboratories, the city blends centuries of scholarship with a vibrant, forward-looking spirit.
Our Cambridge Summer Courses for ages 16–17 capture this same energy. Students learn through small-group seminars and tutorials, where every voice matters and every idea is explored. It’s an environment that nurtures independent thinking and the confidence to question, challenge, and innovate — in class and beyond.
Our Relationship with Cambridge
operates independently and is not affiliated with the University of Cambridge. However, our programmes are inspired by the city’s academic culture — one built on conversation, curiosity, and critical thought.
By studying within authentic Cambridge college settings, students experience the atmosphere that has inspired generations of scholars and innovators. It’s not about replicating university life, but about learning within a community that celebrates curiosity and the pursuit of ideas.

Courses for Ages 16–17: Independent Learners
Our courses for ages 16–17 are designed for students who want to engage with their subjects more deeply, explore complex ideas, and develop confidence in their thinking. Each class is small and discussion-based, with a maximum of eight students, ensuring that everyone has the space to share and grow.
Subjects include Medicine, Law, Economics, Engineering, Creative Writing, Artificial Intelligence, and more. Every course invites students to connect their studies with real-world questions, helping them develop academic insight and the independence to think for themselves.
The Academic Experience
Learn the Cambridge way with tutorial-style teaching. Students take part in interactive seminars that promote self-directed learning and critical discussion, guided by tutors who are experts in their fields. Classes are collaborative and conversational, designed to help students engage with new ideas and challenge their assumptions.
Each student completes two pieces of independent work — essays or problem sheets — which are reviewed and discussed in a 1:1 or 2:1 tutorial. Tutorials lie at the heart of the experience: a chance to explore ideas, receive feedback, and discover new perspectives. On completion, students receive a certificate and letter of recommendation from their tutor, recognising their growth and achievement.
